Baltic Amadeus has new shareholders
2018 11 29This October marks the change of shareholders and board members of IT company Baltic Amadeus.
Andžej Šuškevič, CEO of Baltic Amadeus and Vytautas Kaminskas, Chief Operations Director became the main shareholders with 67 and 28 per cent of shares they are also members of the board. The rest 5 per cent of shares belong to other minor shareholders. Audrius Beniušis, who has been working at Baltic Amadeus since 1989, became the Chairman of the Board.
Andžej Šuškevič who has been working at Baltic Amadeus for 14 years and who has been company‘s CEO since 2013 says that complete management take over is a significant change. This and previous year were one of the most successful years during the company‘s history. 2017 and 2018 are marked by increased number of employees, great financial results, new markets and international recognition.
„We have huge ambitions, professional team and youthful energy but at the same time we are a mature business. I think that these features help our team to meet its goals and stay competitive. During 2018 the number of company‘s employees increased by more than one third, from 117 to 160 and it is the biggest employee number in company’s history. Market dictates IT needs: security, analytic, IoT and mobile solutions are in high demand at the moment. Taking this into account, Baltic Amadeus together with its partners develop new business fields to accelerate company’s growth. In the near future, company’s brand also is going to change and these changes will help to become more recognizable and modern“ – says Andžej Šuškevič, CEO of Baltic Amadeus.
According to CEO of the company, the main direction of business stays the same – creating modern custom software solutions.
In 2017 company‘s revenue was more than 4 mln. EUR while first three quarters of 2018 ended with 4.5 mln. EUR revenue, in other words, revenue growth was 44 per cent comparing to the same period last year. This result was ensured not only by stable export but also because of growing Lithuanian market, bigger projects of current clients and new clients.
