BALTIC AMADEUS REINFORCING ITS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

At the end of 2015, the activities of Baltic Amadeus have been acknowledged by awarding three new certificates that will reinforce the company’s professional and competitive advantages in developing systems which guarantee a high level of security. Knowledge and skills of the experts as well as the information security management system used were awarded the Human Factors Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and ISO/IEC 27001 certificates accordingly.

The awarded CUA qualification demonstrates the professionalism of the experts at Baltic Amadeus and their competence in bringing the end user into the development of software using suitable methods and processes. It also reveals that they are knowledgeable of the principles of user interface design, capable of collecting data, carrying out task analysis and user-friendliness tests, establishing defects in connection with user-friendliness as well as offering the best solutions. The CEH certificate was awarded in recognition of the competence of the experts at the company to guarantee the security of systems against unauthorised computer intrusions. Owing to the knowledge of the latest security threats, sources of attacks, intrusion techniques and methodologies as well as security measures, the systems under development comply with very strict IT system security requirements.

At the same time, good information management at the company and the maintenance of a high level of security thereof have been awarded the international ISO/IEC 27001 certificate issued by certification body Bureau Veritas.

The ISO 27001 certificate that we received proves this. It shows that not only are we in charge of the exchange and security of our own confidential information that meet the strictest international requirements, but the same of our clients as well”, – said Andžej Šuškevič, the CEO of Baltic Amadeus.

According to Mr. A. Šuškevič, all of the awards received are very important factors contributing to the future success of the company that proves its professional advantage and credibility. It is of particular importance in developing the business into new markets, increasing customer satisfaction in connection with the services provided and seeking for international recognition.

Following the data held by the international certification centre Human Factors International, having obtained the CUA qualification, Baltic Amadeus became one of 10 companies with experts of such kind in Lithuania. According to the Lithuanian Standards Board, the ISO 27001 awarded is one of 45 such certificates presently in force in Lithuania that govern the business of companies.
